Since 2020
Home is not a place, it’s a feeling.
How it started
A leap of faith in Park Slope
Casita of Brooklyn was born over a dinner John and Jenn shared in Miami. So many times you talk and joke about things that will probably never happen — until one day they do.
When John visited his godmother in Park Slope, he learned the coffee shop in her building had closed that August and the space had sat vacant since. Taking their savings and all the time they had, they signed the lease that November of 2020.
John’s background in food & beverage and Jenn’s eye for design and sales were the perfect match for what would become Casita — a home away from home, dog-friendly, and rooted in the Brooklyn community they love.
